I currently work in grundisburgh primary school as a dinner lady and I also do the breakfast clubs and after school clubs! I’ve just started this job and the kids already love me, as I do them. I am creative in art which a lot of younger children find interesting and it inspires their imagination! I passed all of my GCSE exams so I am able to help with homework, I also attended college where I completed my level 3 diploma in art and design. Soon I will be doing my cbt so I will be able to travel further than grundisburgh for babysitting, however this does mean I am unable to pick up or drop off. Over lockdown I have been doing a lot of baking and cooking and have become quite good at it, so baking with the kids for fun and making their supper is something I can provide. I was a carer for my own mother for about 5 years, which involved doing things on her behalf, I also cared for my grandmother when she fell critically ill with stage 4 brain cancer, Which in turn entailed helping her bathe, get dressed and feeding her. From those experiences I can say I am comfortable and able to do the same for younger or perhaps children with disabilities.
