Since I grew up with 2 younger siblings, I like to think I know a thing or two about being around children. I was a chunk older than my youngest sibling so I was often left to babysit and keep him entertained. I have a lot of experience volunteering with children - I was a Student Leader at Gordonstoun International Summer School, where I was responsible for a group of 20 children, along with another Student Leader, everyday for nearly a month. They ranged from ages 8-16 and I was there to motivate and attend all their classes with them including music, art, sport, drama and various others. I was there to be their friend as well as their leader. I have also previously volunteered at Girlguiding Rainbows, where I worked with girls ages 5-7. Here we did a lot of crafts and games and was something for the girls to look forward to.
