So I have babysat many times before for my cousin, my cousin's friends and some children a few years ago and I still regularly childmind my cousin even if it’s just for half an hour. I also have lots of other experience working with children all the way till 16. I’ve worked in schools that go up to year 6 and start at reception as a TA but I’ve also had experience in a special educational needs school- which was very rewarding. Alongside the school experience, I have also worked in children’s homes with children who have very challenging behaviour and currently work as an after school club assistant in the afternoons. Finally, I have safeguarding training, paediatric first aid and have done a manual handling course and I’m DBS checked.
