I am a passionate care worker with a background in social work and humanitarianism. I have always had a great affinity for working with children and have a lot of experience babysitting, volunteering in child-centered spaces, and caring for my niece, nephew and younger cousins. I thrive in creative environments and I really enjoy arts and crafts, creative writing, and generally enjoy using my imagination to create stimulating exercises and activities that engage children. A formative childcare experience of mine is the time I spent in Ecuador working with an NGO that provides safe and supportive care for children of impoverished families. Additionally, I have supported children who have experienced abuse in my capacity as a childcare volunteer at a child therapy clinic. I have gained an exceptional and trauma-informed skillset from these experiences working with vulnerable children. I recently graduated from my postgraduate program at LSE, where I studied Humanitarian Emergencies.
