I am a self-motivated and resourceful individual seeking a position as a Nanny. I am 21 years old, I currently have 4 years’ experience within childcare through employment at a nursery as a nursery nurse. During my employment I have completed a vast amount of essential qualifications such as level 2 and 3 childcare, first aid, health & safety, safe guarding, food hygiene and Makaton of which means I am also able to communicate with children suffering from hearing difficulties. I have particular experience with children from the ages of 3 months to 4 years. I love children and enjoy their company immensely and find nothing is more rewarding than taking care of them. I believe in creating a positive, happy environment for children, one in which they feel protected and can thrive. I have good organizational and communication skills, which I believe are among the most important skills for a nanny. I will bring a professional attitude to develop and nurture children in the most effective manner. I am looking for a challenging position as a Nanny where demonstrated love for children and the yearning to make a difference in young lives will be utilized effectively.
