Hi, I'm Maya -- I'm 28 with over 15 years experience in childcare. I'm a dual US/UK citizen originally from New York. I'm first-aid/CPR certified and have extensive experience with infants and toddlers as well as with school-age children and teenagers. I've been a full-time nanny, a weekend date-night babysitter and everything in between. I love working with children; I find childcare to be the most purposeful and rewarding jobs I've ever had. I come from two generations of midwives/maternity/labor & delivery nurses, so I have a thorough knowledge of infant care. I’m quite an active and creative nanny - I really enjoy going for walks, to parks, museums, libraries, music classes, story-times etc. I'm also always happy to find creative ways of playing and learning at home. I'm adaptable to every family's needs, preferences and schedules -and am more than happy to prepare any meals and do any light housekeeping if need be.
