I volunteered in a summer scheme for children from disadvantaged areas in the city. It was a two week long scheme in which I was one of five leaders, looking after a group of 15-20 four to five year olds. We planned activities, games and day trips for the children. I worked as an au pair in Paris for 2 years. I looked after a 2 year old boy and 11 year old girl. I looked after the boy full time and picked the girl up from school and helped her with homework. I learned so much and gained so much childcare experience within those two years. It was an amazing experience and I loved the job.
