I'm Maria. I’m an early years teacher and I possess Qualified Teacher Status in England. I’m also an Ofsted Registered Childminder and Paediatric First Aid Qualified. I have recently created a home educational setting, The Owls House, in which children learn through playing and exploring how to be independent, how to manage their feelings and develop skills in all areas of development. I plan activities and educational experiences based in children's interests and needs, helping them to progress well in a secure and stimulating environment. I’m fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English (I am native Spanish). You can choose a second language for your child who will learn it through playing, stories, songs, circle times...in a natural way. I’ve an experience of 10 years working with children between 1 and 6 years old in different nursery schools around the world. I have learned, especially in Italy, a Reggio educational approach, an education based on creativity where free play, arts and nature are considered essential to learn skills in all areas of development.
