I am married with 2 children aged 29 & 19. My daughter has just started in University so I have more time to spare. I worked for NPTCBC and before that West Glamorgan CC as a social worker for 34 years. Since taking early retirement I cared for a teacher friend's daughter aged 10 months just one day a week, initially for 3 terms then when needed. I worked from September 2018 -March 2020 term time only as a Personal Assistant, part time, assisting a visually impaired lady with daily tasks and the care of her 3 children. This involved taking the 2 older girls back and fore to school and helping with her 1 year old son. My brother's 3 children and 5 grandchildren have always spent holidays with us so I have experience with all ages. I am reliable and trustworthy. I have a good sense of humour, I keep active, walking & swimming and I think it's important to make things fun & keeping children occupied with crafts etc. I have also had experience working with children with additional needs.
