Hi I'm Maria, I am originally from Colombia and emigrated to London when I was 8 years old. I am a very academic person who priority has always been working and studying hard, I am bilingual in both Spanish and English with an academic level writing for both as well, I also have a good grasp of french and can pretend to speak some Italian. Being Colombian I grew up with masses of people around me, always around family and therefore kids. My main experience with kids apart from previous babysitting jobs was having to look after my younger sister and cousins as we grew up, so I have a very familiar style around (young) kids and like to have fun with them as well as remain in control whatever situation might arise. I love to play and draw and create things, or watch an animated movie or even do homework! I have a good grasp of all types of subjects in sciences, math, geography/history, humanities subjects and art (Studied Film at Falmouth University) and again through family, I have experience working with kids with learning disabilities (Dyslexia/Dyspraxia) so I am definitely up for helping them through their homework. I am an aspiring Documentary Filmmaker and photographer and enjoy tea and cake. :)
