Hi, my name is Margaret I am qualified social worker who loves working with children and young people. Family and friends refer to me as a big kid at heart. I have younger siblings who I have looked after being newborns so I know the importance of caring for children and keeping them safe and stimulated at all times. I am currently looking for a weekend position. I have worked as a babysitter since I was 16 years old looking after my own siblings and friends children. I currently work as a child protection social worker which means I spend 90% of the time with children and young people developing positive relationships with them and advocating for them where needed. Through my profession and personal life I understand the importance of making sure the child is the centre of everything I do and I think this mindset has contributed to my love of children, that and being a big child at heart!
