I am a young at heart married mum of 3 grown up children & lucky enough to be a nana to one grandson with another one on the way. My first nanny job was at 18 where I worked looking after 2 children full time until they were both at school. I went on to another full time job who I stayed with for 5 half years including having my own first 2 children. I went into child minding when number 2 came along as it was a bit much taking both my little ones to work every day. When my children started nursery I worked 1-1 with a little boy with quite a lot of extra needs and transitioned with him at his parents request through to the primary school they chose for him. I looked after him throughout his school years and then when he left went on to work in early years for the rest of my time at the school. After 12 years at the school I took a complete career change and started an HCA (nursing job) at Benenden private hospital where I worked in theatres wards and ACU for 4 half years. I loved my job there but my passion is children and sadly they closed the children’s department there. I wasn’t actively looking but a mum reached out to me on this app which led me back to nannying today and I’ve been nannying again ever since.
