I am an apprentice at an alternative provision, where I work with students who face behavioural challenges, including those with ADHD and autism, ranging from Year 3 to college level. I teach Maths, English and more for primary and KS3. My initial work experience was with an organisation providing after-school care for children with disabilities. This role has allowed me to gain valuable experience working with children who have hearing impairments, Down’s syndrome, and physical disabilities. Additionally, from the age of 15, I was a young carer for my sister, who was undergoing treatment for cancer. During this time, I administered medication, including injections, and provided end of life care. I have a full UK license and have been DBS checked. I also studied Health and Social care in college, achieving a Distinction, Merit. I am available mainly on Friday and the weekends.
