Hi, my name is Maia, I am 21 years old, and I've just moved to Bath. I am kind, patient, and honest, and have been working with children since I was 11, when my first sibling was born. I have always helped my family with my 3 siblings and my experience at home made babysitting an easy job for me as a young teenager. As I got older I gained more experience with kids of all ages, including some work experience at my previous primary school. In 2016 I spent several months being a nanny for a new mother who's husband had to return to work. My experience with newborns helped my employer become more confident in herself and her abilities. My time with this family helped me realise that working with children and babies was not just something I was naturally good at, but it was also one of the most rewarding experiences. Being a part of a growing child's life, helping them grow and experiencing the world through their eyes is really a blessing. I am an animal-loving, outdoorsy, bookworm; my favourite season is Autumn and I love nothing better than curling up with a good book and a cup of tea on a rainy day.
