I have volunteered to supervise children in multiple primary schools, to be a general support and also to help teach art, English and maths in less advantaged schools. I have cooking experience within my school, choosing to complete a cooking class every Thursday afternoon in my last year of school and enjoying it generally at home. I have also done some babysitting for children aged 6-8 and have been around younger children due to friends siblings, helping them and older children through taking on leadership roles within my school in committees, CCF and sport. I have completed first aid courses multiple times both in and outside school. Being on a gap year I have a lot of times and means to be around and support children, taking them to clubs, cooking and school runs. I also feels being a younger applicant allows me to bring a different energy and be creative and imaginative around the children.
