I support an autistic boy aged five. Devise activities that help promote physical and mental development. Accompany child on outings to approved locations as well as after-school activities. Establish and maintain safe and supportive environments. Communicate with parents about daily activities and behaviours. Implement and oversee activities centered on promoting learning and imaginative play. Read stories and facilitate discussions to tie books into learning opportunities. Encourage basic crafts such as paintings, drawings and decorations. I also have years of experience looking after my niece and nephew.
