Here is some of my experience: From 13 I regularly babysat our neighbours kids, from newborn - 10 a few nights a week/whenever I was needed. Upon moving to Ireland I was a part time nanny for 3 kids - aged 6, 3, and a newborn. The parents ran a salon so I would take the kids most weekends for the full day. Some weekdays I was in charge of lifting them from school, bringing them home for dinner and getting them ready for bed. On occasion I would have the kids overnight. In 2017 I was a full-time nanny for the same family over the summer. I would get them ready for school, take them to/from school and get them ready for bed. As a note - the 3 year old girl had down syndrome, so I also have some experience with special needs. Finally, I come from a big family of 7 (5 kids) and I'm the oldest. I played a huge part in the raising of my younger siblings and have so much experience with newborns. Recently, my parents have become foster parents and there have been a range of ages in the house that I have been helping with the past few years.
