I was child minders assistant; I was working there for just over a two Years. Duties and responsibilities are taking children to school in the morning and picking them up in the afternoon, to ensure that the children’s safety is paramount. Throughout the day we would organise different activities and play situations for all the children that are at the setting. I would assist children going to the toilet and help with nappy changing along with assisting with the daily routine of caring for the children I was the sole carer of three children aged age ranging from 3 months to 8 years old, I would be responsible of feeding, bathing and dressing the children along with doing school runs and planning different activities for the children. My position was based in the 2-4 years room, caring and looking after up to 26 children at one time, My responsibility was to plan focused activities that would help them meet their next step and to also make them fun and creative, I had a key group of 13 children whilst working at the nursery and have a wide knowledge of the EYFS.
