I have a 9 year old younger brother, which has provided me with primary experience of childcare throughout this time. With a 13 year age gap, I have been particularly hands on over the past few years. As well as this, I also have previously volunteered for an Easter summer programme for young children when I was 14, in which I helped run activities and manage the children. The age of children ranged from about 5-10. As a person, I am very outgoing and a keen worker, having always enjoyed being in work and always striving to do the job to the best of my ability. I enjoy working with people and have great experience in customer service and working in a team, which had aided me with developing my communication skills and empathy.
