Hello, my name is Lucy. I will be going into my third year of study History at the University of the Highlands and Islands and with this degree I hope to pursue a career in teaching. I enjoy reading books, watching nature documentaries, hiking and coffee. I am a first aid trained and PVG certified woman who loves to work with kids. I taught environmental education to 10-12 year olds in Seattle, America (2019) and I was also a Cabin Leader (camp counsellor) for the whole summer of 2019 in America. I am a fun, hard working and vigilant person who is dedicated to ensuring your child’s safety but also their enjoyment. I understand that for children it can be confusing when I parent is not there and I have experience dealing with these situations. I would sit with the child and talk to them about their likes and dislikes and slowly take their mind off what was causing them distress and soon they would be back to normal. I am an excellent communicator, I explain things clearly and I am very punctual. I am a non-smoker and I do not drink alcohol.
