Hello, my name is Lucy and I am 18 years old. Currently, I am studying at Egglescliffe Sixth Form however, I will be finishing next month and in preparation for university in September I would love to step into such a rewarding role of caring and helping children. Those who know me would describe me as mature, organised and trust worthy. I am a very positive, confident and happy individual with a long term goal to become a Midwife. I have been accepted in to this competitive course for September. During my 4 months off and alongside studying for this degree, I would like to enhance my care giving skills by taking on the responsibility to babysit and care for your children. Since a young age I have always been given the opportunity to care for my families younger children and have frequently babysat my newborn cousins and toddlers with complete ease. As well as this, I have qualified in First Aid, and in my secondary school years I worked as a SEND mentor (Special educational needs mentor). During this time spent supporting children with learning difficulties I discovered my passion for helping others learn, grow and develop.
