Hi! I am looking for a welcoming and friendly family for whom I can do some summer babysitting work. I have recently finished my A-levels in Maths and Psychology and would like to gain some extra childcare experience to contribute to my journey to becoming a teacher. I will hopefully be attending Newcastle University in September to study a Maths and Psychology degree and have been accepted onto the Teaching Future Scholars program which is a pathway into teaching. I am happy to prepare simple meals for and help your children with anything they need, whether it’s homework, walking them to the park or helping them find a film to watch. I am a very caring person and have often babysat my siblings and my parents’ friends’ children. I have also volunteered in children’s youth centres for many years. I currently have an essential life-saving first aid qualification which includes both CPR on all ages and choking intervention. *just to mention, I do not have access to or license to drive a car so I am only available for pick ups/drop offs if they’re close to where I will be working.
