Towards the end of high school I child-minded on a weekly basis for a family with a 10 month old baby and a 5 year old girl who were 2 and 6 years old by the time I left for university. I have also coached badminton to children from the ages of 4-17 in classes with up to 24 pupils. Through this, I developed my personal skills with children by ensuring that my teaching method is both interesting and beneficial. Not only did this role require communication and patience, but also an ability to organise and prepare. The classes followed a program that aimed to demonstrate improvement and build on the skills the children had learned and developed in the previous weeks. Finally, I have experience babysitting for multiple different families ranging from 2-10 children at one time.
