Hiya, my name is Louise and I am a 22 year old babysitter who is looking to support families either full or part time. Currently I work as a support worker two nights a week, so I am also flexible in that I can work nights. As a babysitter I have looked after children of different ages from 5 months to 10 years. The longest I babysit for at a time was six months, and that was looking after a 3 and 5 year old. My responsibilities included meal preparations, school/nursery pick ups, entertainment and play; then during the summer holidays we went on days out. As for babies, my responsibilities were bonding and play, bathing, feeding, nappy changing and assisting them to sleep. My career goal is to become a self employed Childminder, and while I support families I plan to start an online course so I can achieve this. However, once I am qualified this will not affect my role with you. I also understand and have experience with children who have Autism, as my 9 year old little brother is on the Autistic spectrum.
