I'm Lorraine, a young-ish 58 year old. I have been employed for the last five months with a fantastic family with a four-nine (4months at start) month old baby boy, and a nine year old boy. Unfortunately daddy has lost his job, which means that I am now looking for a new nanny position. I would prefer part-time and local. I would consider relocating or working full-time for the right family. I have a strong sense of integrity and empathy, and try to impart that on the children I care for. I have a natural affinity with children. I love a good giggle with kids of all ages, and seem to have a knack for bringing out the best and positives in them and can usually build a good rapport with them. I love to teach children. I am fairly laid back and very understanding of children's needs. I believe that children learn from example how to be respectful, well-mannered and polite. I enjoy most of the challenges that taking care of children presents. I hold an up-to-date Paediatric First Aid Certificate, an enhanced DBS, and a UK driving licence.
