I have 7 years’ experience working with children, 3.5 as a Nursery Nurse and Early Years Practitioner and a further 3.5 as a Private Nanny. I enjoy creating a safe and fun environment for the children in my care to allow them to thrive and promote effective learning and development. I’m quite easy going and love to build strong relationships with people to become a positive impact in their lives. Working at the Nursery, I experienced the full set of responsibilities that comes with working with young children. Anything from tracking milestones and completing developmental portfolios, setting up fun and innovative activities, to toilet training and dealing with challenging behaviour. More recently I worked as a private Nanny for an amazing family, helping to raise their 2 lovely girls. Over this time, I watched the girls grow up and supported them in reaching their milestones, as well as becoming fully a part of their family. I undertook several responsibilities, some of which included cooking healthy meals, planning fun days out and play dates, taking care of house upkeep and daily chores, maintaining routines, and travelling with the family on holiday both in the UK and abroad.
