I have been caring for children for over 20 years, starting with my 2 daughters (now 26 and 24). I was a childminder for over 12 years caring for over 50 children in my home. I became a nanny after finishing childminding. I have worked for 2 families in the last 6 years, firstly looking after 4 children, my roles included taking children to school, housework and meal preparing and then collecting children. I would also take the children to after school activities. I then started looking after my granddaughter and child 5 together. We would attend parent and toddler groups. We would also visit theatre and museums and soft play. I only stopped caring for the fifth child when she started nursery school (same school as her brother). I’m looking for a new family to care for.
