I have worked with children and young people aged between 0-21 for the past 10 years in a variety of settings. I have worked in a mainstream school, a SEN provision, a breakfast and after school, children’s residential care homes, a teenage mental health unit, semi independent living and a mother & baby unit. My past 3 years of work have been with children I the care system. Behaviours can be challenging due to the complex trauma they have often experienced. I work following a therapeutic models such as PACE and DDP. I have a Child Development GCSE (B), a BTec in Children’s Care, Learning and Development (DDM) and a BSc in Childhood Studies (2:1).
