I am a fun caring individual who adores children and loves exploring the world with them. I am the proud aunty of a 6 year old autistic boy whom I am helping my sister raise. I have learnt so much from helping raise him, from basic things such as changing nappies, feeding and playing to real responsibilities such as implementing a daily routine and being vigilant for his personal safety. I have some experience babysitting and looking after children during the day. When dealing with children I am both enthusiastic and fun however I understand the importance of mutual respect between adult and children and am not afraid to be slightly firm with children at the same time as having their best interests at heart. I have more than 7 years experience in hospitality where I have learnt the importance of making people feel special. Countless times I have had the absolute pleasure of interacting with children and not forgetting to create an incredible experience for them, and have been rewarded with beautiful drawings and letters from them in appreciation. Due to the pandemic, I am now not needed at night to care for my nephew which is why I am interested in the opportunity to babysit and possibly care for children over the weekend.
