Since beginning my journey as a caretaker over 8 years ago, I have come to realize that caring for children is so much more than a short-term job. It’s an experience that stays with you forever. I know that I have a special opportunity to make a difference in your children’s lives and to form long-lasting relationships with them while I am in your home. Not everyone has the right qualities to work with children; however, I believe it comes quite naturally to me. I have been very hands-on with the kids I have cared for in the past and have enjoyed doing outdoor activities with them, such as swimming, biking, or simply playing at the park, and also artistic projects, like painting, coloring, or other arts and crafts. My mother was an elementary school teacher for many years, and I truly believe my ability to be patient, nurturing, and creative comes from her. Throughout my time as a nanny, I have worked with children of all ages, ranging from infants to middle schoolers, so I’d like to say I know what to expect from each stage. I have dealt with picky eating, sibling fights, and even public tantrums, but nothing has scared me off quite yet. I look forward to hearing from you guys soon!
