I have 2 years experience in childcare and it something I genuinely love doing and am passionate about. I worked for a nursery and after school club for a year. In the nursery I was responsible for children aged 2-5. I would take the children on outdoor trips as well as setting up activities in the garden and classrooms. For the after school club I would pick the children up from school and take them to the after school club where I would engage them in a range of activities, including sports, group games and a range of arts and crafts. I have also worked as a babysitter in a country club in the USA for 3 months this past summer where I cared for children aged 6 months-7 years. I would be assigned children that were solely in my care and would take them to playgrounds and set up activities such as arts and crafts depending on their age group. I am young and enthusiastic and love getting involved in the games with the children. I am currently studying in at the university of Strathclyde so I would need to fit around my schedule but evenings and weekends work well for me as well as certain mornings.
