My names lily and I am 25 years old. I have a level 3 childcare, I also have 5 years experience as a nanny. Alongside caring for the children I also carried out housekeeping, I would clean the house; the laundry; change beds; food shopping; book appointments etc. Whilst the older children were attending school I would organise days for the youngest, sometimes paying out of my own money to ensure the child was staying active and having fun, on top of this was also teaching the child on a day to day basis. I really enjoyed this role and I have gained a lot of experience on how to create fun activities to help the children with their homework and to teach them good manors, safety and responsibility. I also went to placement during in college where I would work alongside staff in a nursery and school for experience.
