Though I have no official babysitting experience as a career, I am by no means inexperienced with children. I volunteered at an activities camp for children with special needs and disabilities, I looked after family friends' kids most of my life, and through my work in hospitality I have worked many children's events. I am bilingual and first aid and allergen trained, and I have been cooking for as long as I remember. Primarily I think it's important for children to have an environment where they are looked after but aren't treated like they're a burden or a hassle. Children are often more innately intelligent than people give them credit for, they are just inexperienced in life, and I think it is incredibly important to respect them as people.
