Throughout my childhood I have travelled and had the opportunity to live in Houston, Texas, where I often spent my weekends babysitting and helping families with school drop off, pick ups, and after school care. This also lead to overnight stays and care throughout the week. In my spare time I have volunteered in orphanages in Costa Rica as well as Florida. I further volunteered at a homeless shelter in Houston. I enjoyed coaching a netball team of children from ages 7-11 and encouraged them to push themselves to do their very best. I am a kind, caring and social person who goes the extra mile to help and ensure that the best possible care is given to the children. I am motivated by watching children grow and succeed. I am currently studying a HNC in Childhood Practice with hope to further my studies in Primary School Teaching. I hold a level 2 food preparation certificate and have done standard first aid training. I look forward to building bonds with families and providing the best care for their child to grow as an individual and develop.
