I am 19 years old and have one year experience of childcare in which I cared for two young boys ages 6 and 8. I take great interest in child growth and development and understand the importance of giving children a loving upbringing .I have been surrounded by children for the majority of my life and believe I have a caring and nurturing personality . Whilst previously caring for two boys I learnt a great deal of skills and built on my confidence . My main duties included picking the children up from school , encouraging and providing assistance with any school activities and cooking the children’s nutritional meals .Alongside this we also played games and I helped the children achieve small milestones .I also care part time for my younger sister (3 years old ) due to my dads busy schedule . I have played a predominant role in her upbringing including speech development ,basic understanding of writing and reading .I am enthusiastic and positive which creates a warm environment for younger individuals .I believe my personality is extremely friendly and approachable .
