Hi! I’m Leah and I’m 20 years old. I have plenty of experience with childcare. Between the ages of 15-17 I babysat weekly for a family of 3, which included picking them up from school, helping them with homework and putting them to bed. I also babysat weekly for a child aged 3 for the duration of the day - we would go to the park, play games and do activities such as baking. For the last three years I have worked in a nursery and after school club, which has given me plenty of experience with a wide range of ages. My role involved observing children and planning activities in line with the EYFS to help their development in all areas. In September I am going to university to pursue a degree in Primary Education. I have a passion for caring for children as I love helping them further their development and playing with them of course! I'm very good at devising activities that not only the child can enjoy, but can also learn from. I am DBS checked, have just finished my Level 3 Childcare qualification and I recently undertook a paediatric first aid course.
