Before COVID hit I worked in a nursery which is something I really enjoyed, since then a lot has changed and I’m now looking to get back into a childcare role but on a more personal level. At the nursery I gained experience working with kids as young as 4 months to 4 years old. I also completed all necessary first aid training and did a course on CPR whilst I was there. On top of this I have been babysitting for the last few years which I really love. I’ve been with a couple of my families for a few years now and it’s been really rewarding to be able to watch the kids grow up in front of me. Finally I’ve also got experience looking after SEN kids. I volunteered at a local kids club for kids ages 7-11 and a lot of my time there I spent doing 1:1 work with a little girl there and I really enjoyed it.
