Over the past 4 years I have gained experience in 3 different childcare settings. KJ school of dance and drama: Assist in the teaching of dance routines to children between the ages of 3-10. • Dealing with queries from Parents. • Responsible for supporting a student, with autism, teaching her dance routines on a 1:1. West Lea School West Lea is a school for children with Complex Needs and during my time there I, • Supported students in lesson on a 1:1 basis • Assisting students during their PE lessons ensuring that they could fully take part • Lead games and activities, for the children, during lunch and break time. • Assisted the Teachers by providing general classroom support. After completing my work experience, I was asked if I would like to volunteer at West Lea’s Summer School which I took part in over the summer. Chase Farm Hospital Staff Nursery • Took part in play activities. • Assisted during meal times. • Also sat and read with children.
