Hi! My name is Lavinia and I am a performing arts teacher for children age 4-17. I am a friendly and bubbly person with a positive attitude to all aspects of life. I have an assertive and also kind manner and love helping children learn and seeing them progress. From the age of 16 I took on a position as a dance teaching assistant at a Performing Arts School and eventually became a teacher and choreographer. I have experience communicating and assisting children for the ages of 4 through to 17 and have the ability to adapt to all learning abilities and ages. I would ensure the children were kept in a safe and secure environment at all times, maintaining a fun atmosphere, and communicating with them during break times. I have also had experience in a primary school as a teachers assistant for 1 week, in year 3 helping the children with tasks and checking in on how they felt that day. I have also worked as a peripatetic music teaching assistant around various schools, gaining an insight into the structure of lessons and routines.
