My name is Lauryn, I am a primary school teacher (KS1). I have 6 years of nanny experience. I love working with children of all ages. I am also DBS and PVG registered. I am available for weekend and evening babysitting, as well as school holiday cover. Throughout my undergraduate degree I worked as a part-time nanny whilst studying at university providing before and after school care for several lovely families around the area. I believe my years as a nanny has provided a lot of experience and helped me realise that working with children is the career I wish to pursue. I spent the summer of 2016 as an Au Pair in Perth, Australia caring for two girls aged 2 and 4. I feel like this gave me a lot of hands on experience with children. I was also one of two Adult Leaders at St Ninian's Rainbow Unit. I found this very rewarding and thoroughly enjoy my involvement, and always have through my 5 years of assisting Girl Guiding units. Finally, despite being young I have a lot of experience with looking after children and I think that I can bring a fun and youthful approach, which in the past I think has made it easy to connect well with children.
