I currently work for a teaching agency which places me in schools. I have experience in nursery, reception, year 1 and year 2. I have worked with children with SEND, specifically autism and ADHD. I support the children with their school work, encourage pupil engagement and help with behavioural management. For 3 months, I worked at a children’s camp in America with children aged 5-17. I led activities such as swimming and arts and crafts. I became a positive role model and helped set a positive example to children. I helped children develop skills such as showering, manners and bed time routines (especially helping with homesickness). I further volunteered as a brownie leader and had fun on adventures with children and conducting activities. which enabled me to work with children in a different environment. I love to make children laugh and smile and to help parents have a relaxing meal time!
