I am a qualified primary school teacher and I am currently working as a SEND teaching assistant in the local area. I am upbeat, positive and a caring person who prides myself on being organised and providing creative learning environments for young people. I believe my childminding approach is firm but fair; and my main goal is to keep every child happy and safe. I can offer tutoring after school, as I understand the national curriculum in great depth. I can also provide environments for children to be creative or explore the outdoors! In my undergraduate degree I won an award from the City Council of York for my educational play activities with nursery and primary school students. Whether your children love to play with paint and science pipettes to create waterfall art, or want to conquer their next swim certificate, I am more than happy to help as much as I can. I have been a Summer Camp Counsellor for the past six year, teaching activities from football and yoga to cooking! I have a DBS check and have training in safeguarding children, alongside mental health training. Currently working towards my First Aid qualification.
