I have experience in a range of childcare focused roles. For example, I have volunteered in a school where I assisted in children's reading, I have worked in nurseries looking after children from 0-5 years old and I have also worked in a trampoline park insuring children from 5+ are safe and having fun. For the past year I have been nannying for a local family with two children aged 6 and 8, originally part time. I became full time when COVID hit as I took on extra responsibility home schooling two children for 3+ months. My normal roles in this position included: • Preparing breakfast and helping children get ready • Transporting children to and from school and extracurricular activities • Teaching children appropriate social behaviours • Supervision of homework and play dates • Providing appropriate educational and stimulating activities • General cleaning I have also been childminding for a local family for the past few months so I am quite experienced in looking after a wide range of ages. I am looking to continue a nannying profession and enjoy a busy household. I am flexible and happy to help out with the home schooling whilst in the current lockdown situation.
