I have a CACHE Diploma level 3 in childcare and education. During college, I did different placements each term from nurseries and primary schools. After I finished college, I worked as a childminder assistant where I looked after children aged from a couple of months to 6 years. After this, I helped a woman who had MS with her 2 children after school. They were aged 2 and 5. I then helped a mother with newborn twins and a 2 year old. Then I looked after a 4 year old after nursery and at the moment, I am looking after 2 girls aged 4 and 5. I then had my own 2 children now 7 and 5 and took time off to raise them. My youngest has a disability so we had a lot of hospital appointments to attend. Both girls are now at school so I am able to fully commit to a job. I started working at the nursery my daughter attended and worked my way up to deputy manager. I now work as a nursery officer in the toddler room at a local nursery. I have a full clean driving license, CRB, first aid and own car.
