I am a primary school teacher who is friendly, approachable and enthusiastic! I love working with children and building a positive relationship with families. I live with my husband, step son (10 years old) and my Golden retriever, Kodi in Verwood. I come from a very family orientated background - family is everything to me and I know how special families are to others too! Having worked with children since I left school, I have a wealth of knowledge and experience. Starting my career at 16 in a nursery, working in both baby room and pre-school. From that, I went on to be a teaching assistant and ELSA (emotional literacy support assistant), I have a wealth of knowledge within inclusion and special educational needs through my various training I have completed and experiences I have faced. I then decided to do my teacher training and have since been a primary school teacher for over 4 years. I have worked in both key stage 1 and 2 and have enjoyed every minute for various different reasons. I am currently teaching in year 2.
