I have much experience with caring for children from birth onwards having become an aunt aged 4 and babysitting from an early age also. My background professionally was in Business Management after a BA degree but I took change direction 12 years ago and trained as a foster carer. I adopted my son who is now 11, he arrived ages 8 months. Shortly before Covid we moved my then 89 yr old mum, who had dementia from Glasgow, to live with us in Trinity. Sadly she died at the end of 2020. I’m so glad to have had her here with us for her last year. I decided to continue helping young children who were born during the pandemic and not as socially experienced as they would have been. I'm confident with everything from tantrums to teething, toilet training, fussy eaters to having lots of fun! I have full disclosure and paediatric first aid having fostered and trained with the complex and detailed procedures and skills required. I’m fully equipped to care in our home which is just a few minutes from Victoria Park. I'm flexible weekday and weekends and available in the evenings too, as well as overnight. My hourly rate is £7.50, £8.00 at weekends and also happy to discuss a flat daily/ weekly and sibling rate.
