The skills I have to offer is patience and tolerance. I understand that children are young and just learning about the world around them so it's important to handle them with care, listen to any problems they are having and trying your best to solve them with patience and not anger. I am also enthusiastic and engaging with children, trying my hardest to keep them entertained and happy so we can develop a relationship. I also focus on actively listening to children especially in terms of boundaries or if the child feels upset in anyway. I have developed my experience from not only working part time at a child minders but from looking after my siblings as well from the age of 13. Taking on tasks such as helping with homework, creating fun and educational activities, placing children for naps/bed, feeding the children nutritional meals and cleaning up after. I enjoy babysitting as one day is never the same with children, I enjoy seeing them reach their potential and having to look after children really motivates me to be a better person, after all once children are in my care I am acting as their role model.
