As a parent, I understand the importance of creating a nurturing and safe environment for children, and a big believer in positive reinforcement. Throughout my daughter’s early years, I brought enthusiasm to imaginative play, and fostered a love for arts and crafts. Many happy days were spent enjoying the outdoors, particularly swimming and outdoor pursuits. Through her time at primary school, I regularly volunteered on day trips out and creative workshops. I have also in the past spent some time volunteering at a Youth charity in York. As an artist, I will endeavour to encourage hands- on creative projects allowing them to experiment and make discoveries, as well as storytelling and imaginative play to stimulate their minds. I am adept at helping with homework, preparing nutritious meals, and organizing age- appropriate activities. I am open to learning and following any special routines or care requirements that children may have. Whilst I am at the beginning of my career as a Nanny and caregiver, my history as a parent, and innate rapport with children, combined with a strong sense of responsibility, ensures that I will create a positive, fun, and safe environment for the children under my care.
