I have 14 years personal experience, in the form of raising my 5 children, now aged 14, 14, 12, 9 & 8. During which time I attended numerous parenting courses, as well as achieving my NVQ Level 2 in Childcare. I have 6 years professional experience within childcare, working in both public and private nurseries, pre-schools and alongside childminders. I am a lover of the outdoors, I believe children thrive whilst experiencing the world, I have some forset school training which supports this. I am also a lover of all animals, large or small, scaley, slimy or furry, and again believe children need to experience animals first hand in the early years, to encourage empathy, care and to support over coming any fears.
