I’m Kym a 20 year old psychology student living in the Marchmont area of Edinburgh, I have just arrived home from working at a summer camp in America for girls between 6 and 14, it was the best experience ever and would love to continue working with children! I have my own car and have a ACRO background check certificate. In the past I have always worked with people in both retail and hospitality. I love interacting with new people and has always been something I gain energy and enthusiasm from. In my most recent role as a camp counsellor I lived with 9 9 year old girls for 6 weeks. Myself, along with 3 other live in staff, were the girls main guardians day and night and were responsible for getting them up and ready for the day, helping them at meal times, dealing with emotional struggles and conflicts, playing with them, putting them to bed and everything in between. During this time many challenges were thrown my way but it was the most rewarding experience and I learnt so much. Around my studies i would be able to do mornings, late afternoons and evenings 3 days a week (no weekends unless its just every so often) and could also be flexible on this so don’t hesitate to let me know your requirements.
